Terms of service
General terms governing the booking of services through holdinginsurtech.com. Read them before booking: ticking the acceptance box incorporates them into the contract.

01Who provides the service
Services are provided by Jaime Valdés, a self-employed professional trading as Holding Insurtech, whose full identification details appear at the end of this page. For anything concerning your booking you can write to the contact email or the WhatsApp number shown on the site.
02What you are booking
Bespoke software development services: design and programming of websites, landing pages and web applications, together with the associated services described in each plan. The specific scope is the one shown on the plan page at the time of booking, plus whatever we agree in writing during the definition phase. Anything not described is not included, and any extension is quoted separately before being carried out.
03Prices and taxes
All prices shown on the site are net amounts in euros and exclude VAT. Spanish VAT at 21% is added, shown itemised in the summary before you pay and on the invoice. If you are a business or professional established in another EU member state and provide a valid intra-Community VAT number, the transaction may be subject to the reverse charge; in that case we adjust it manually before issuing the invoice.
04How booking and payment work
The process is: you choose a plan, sign in to your account, review the summary with the itemised amounts, accept these terms and pay the deposit on the payment page. The deposit equals 30% of the project net price plus its VAT, and paying it reserves your slot in the schedule and starts the work. The remaining 70% plus VAT is invoiced on delivery, once the project is live and working; no automatic charge is made for that amount. You will receive the order confirmation by email together with the deposit invoice.
05Payment methods
Payment is processed entirely through Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. Credit and debit cards, Bizum, Apple Pay and Google Pay are accepted, subject to availability. At no point do we have access to your full card details.
06Delivery times
The times stated on each plan are estimates counted in working weeks from the moment we receive all necessary material (copy, images, access credentials and business data). Waiting time for outstanding material or for client reviews does not count towards the deadline. If we anticipate a significant deviation we tell you in writing as soon as we detect it.
07Right of withdrawal
If you book as a consumer — that is, as a natural person acting for purposes outside your trade or profession — you have 14 calendar days to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason, by notifying us by email. However, when booking you expressly request that work begins before that period ends, by ticking the corresponding box. This means that if you withdraw once work has started you must pay the proportionate part of what has been performed up to the notification, and that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed. If you book as a business or professional, the right of withdrawal does not apply.
08Cancellation and refunds
If you cancel before we start work, 100% of the deposit is refunded. If you cancel once the project has started, the part already performed is deducted and the rest is refunded. If we are the ones unable to deliver what was agreed, the full deposit is refunded. Refunds are issued through the same payment method used, within a maximum of 14 calendar days from the moment the cancellation is agreed.
09Ownership of the work
Once the full amount has been paid, the source code and designs developed specifically for your project become your property, and we hand over the complete repository. Third-party libraries and open-source software used keep their original licences. Unless you tell us otherwise in writing, we reserve the right to show the work in our portfolio.
10Warranty and support
For 30 calendar days after delivery we fix, at no cost, any defect that prevents the project from working as agreed. It does not cover scope changes, new content, or issues caused by third parties or by external modifications. After that period you can take out ongoing maintenance or request one-off interventions.
11Complaints and governing law
You can send any complaint to the contact email and we will reply in writing within one month at most. These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer you may also turn to the consumer authorities of your autonomous community or to an accredited alternative dispute resolution body; for cross-border complaints within the European Union, the European Consumer Centres Network offers free assistance. The European online dispute resolution platform ceased operating on 20 July 2025 and is therefore no longer available.
Provider details
Mandatory provider details (tax ID and address) are missing. They will be completed once self-employed registration in Spain is finalised. If you need them now, write to us and we will provide them.
